One of the most amazing aspects of my job (and lifestyle) is that I get to explore all sorts of different trails systems. Last winter I tried to keep track of all the different places I skied and the list ended up being somewhere north of 15 places. I figured after moving out of the County I wouldn't be able to keep up with that rate, but I've already got 15 places on the list and it's only mid-January! (Check out the work-in-progress list on the front page of this blog.)

Amazing skiing at Black Mountain before Christmas.
It was awesome to ski all the trails and not just the race courses.
Has anyone else ever skied the trail that comes out at the top of High School Hill?

One of my goals for the year is to ski at more than 20 locations. I'm well on my way!
