Where the timers pack heat
Ever been to a race where the finish timer is wearing a bullet-proof vest and carrying a gun?
If you had gone to the C-Me Ski on Saturday, you could answer yes to that question.
The awesome volunteers from the Limestone Ski Club, along with the staff of the Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge (some of whom were law enforcement officers) put on a great race. If you've never been to the Aroostook NWR, I suggest you get over there for a ski on Norm's beautifully groomed trails. And be sure to race in the C-Me Ski next year - the arm workout and post-race chili can't be beat.
(Just don't argue your finish time.)
